Modding tools and materials

     What do you need to be able to modify foam dart shooting blasters?  What are the necessary tools that you will need to be able to do mods?  What materials will you need to purchase?  It's hard to say, but here's my breakdown on the topic.

     Tools:

Some people may have no clue what tools they will be needing to do mods of any level.  It depends on what difficulty mods you are doing and what those particular ones entail.  I will categorize tools based on how important I feel they are overall through my modding experiences.

     Need / very important

• Duct tape
• Electrical tape
• Scotch tape
• Hot glue gun
• Phillips Head screwdriver of a medium size
• Hacksaw
• Scissors
• Hammer
• Ruler
• Cordless power drill and or corded power drill

     Very useful but not necessary

• PVC pipe cutters
• Pliers
• Needle nose pliers/multitool
• Knife
• Gorilla glue
• Epoxy
• Plumbers Goop
• Small Phillips head screwdriver
• Large Phillips head screwdriver
• Small flat head screwdriver
• Large flat head screwdriver
• Handsaw
• Clamp
• Dremel rotary cutting tool

     This concludes my guide to tools that would be used in modding.  Most of them could be replaced with another from the list, meaning not all are necessary, but trying to make do with ineffective tools will not only make your job a lot tougher, it will also make your results worse, as I have found out.  That is why it is divided by what is necessary and what is helpful.  Of course, each mod will require different tools and materials.  If I left any out, you can leave a comment and I'll add it to the list.  I hope this guide will help anyone looking to mod, as it really is worth it.
